    About Acoustic Test Facility of National Institute of Ocean Technology

    National Institute of Ocean Technology is a 2 decade old Government Sector Undertaking functioning under the aegis of the Ministry of Earth Sciences. NIOT’s aims to develop and implement technologies than can sustainably use oceanic resources for benefiting the country. For supporting its purpose various initiatives have been undertaken and one such initiative is conducting calibration services. Calibration services help to ensure the instruments they use in its technological processes are of superlative quality. Calibration processes are undertaken in its Acoustic Test facility. The facility is equipped with state of the art technologically advanced instruments to conduct electro-technical calibration of various instruments. Since its inception it has been providing superior standard of services. This can be attributed to its technological advancements and committed workforce.
