    About Ahmedabad Textile Industry's Research Association (ATIRA)

    Ahmedabad Textile Industry’s Research Association is popularly abbreviated as ATIRA, came into existence in the year of India’s independence, 1947. It has been recognized council of scientific and industrial research under the Ministry of Science and Technology. Its facility is equipped with state of the art advanced technological instruments to conduct thermal, mechanical and electro-technical calibration processes. Measures are calibrated in the electro-technical calibration facility and temperatures are calibrated in the thermal calibration facility. Dimensions, pressures, acoustics, mass, volume, acceleration and speed are calibrated in the mechanical calibration facility. Since inception it has been providing superior quality of services. This can be attributed to its technological developments and trained and committed workforce.
