    About Central Inst. of Plastics Engg. & Tech (CIPET)

    Central Institute of Plastic Engineering and Technology (CIPET) had been established by the Government of India in the year 1968. The purpose of setting up this institution was to develop plastic engineering industries and technologies. For that it provides numerous services among which one of the services is calibration. Calibration services ensure that the quality of products developed from plastic engineering and technologies adhere to standards and reflect superior quality. For that a state of the art modern laboratory set up has been established in the city of Lucknow in U.P. The facilities undertake mechanical, thermal, electro-technical and optical calibration processes. Since its inception it has been providing superior standard of services. This can be attributed to its technological advancements and committed workforce.
