    Bharat Earth Movers Limited now known as BEML, is 50 year old public sector undertaking. It has been conferred with the status of a Miniratna as it undertakes the crucial activity of manufacturing Indian Railway’s parts and components. Since there are great risks of mishaps that can happen if their manufactured substances are of below standard quality, they have to undertake testing and calibration services. Calibration services are undertaken in a state of the art technologically advanced laboratory in the city of Mysore, Karnataka. The facility is equipped to undertake mechanical calibration processes over various instruments. Dimensions of calipers, gauges and micrometers are calibrated in this facility. Since their inception they have been providing superior standard of services. This can be attributed to their technological advancements and committed workforce.
