    ABB R & D Lab– Established in the year of 2002 at Silicon Valley in India, ABB R & D Laboratory develops and supports a broad range of software intensive products and they also act as a partner of other ABB centres as well. The Chief Technology Officer of this ABB group is Markus Beygan and ABB group has their laboratories in seven countries globally and India in one of them. Being a software product lab, it has mainly three core fields, which are as follows– i) Field bus related industrial IT responsibility ii) Industrial IT certification iii) Migration of legacy system. ABB R & D laboratory also has different business sectors such as robotics and motion division,industrial automation division, power grids division and so on. It has pulled off ten projects in India, and currently working on ongoing 15 projects as well. This is one of the leading laboratories in India.
