Advance Firetec Research Lab, established in 2013 provides reliable testing for a variety of Fire Fighting equipments & materials used in Residential, Commercial & Industrial premises. For providing these facilities the lab is located in Mangolpuri, New Delhi. The lab conducts electrical testing on materials like Portable Fire Extinguishers, Wheeled Fire Extinguishers, Mobile Fire Extinguishers, Fire manâ€™s Axe etc., which undergo tests like Electrical conductivity of extinguisher discharge, Dielectric test and many more. The lab also conducts mechanical testing on materials like Portable Fire Extinguishers â€“ Performance & construction, Dry Chemical Powders for Fighting B & C Class fires, Firemanâ€™s Axe, Gas Cartridges For Use In Fire Extinguishers etc. and the tests performed on them are like Piping, couplings and valves (design), Range and water flow rate in LPM, Flow test (Capacity of water flow in LPM), Assembling, Testing (Drop Test), Free flowing Characteristics, Fire Extinguishment Test and many more. While the chemical testing is performed on materials like Foam Concentrates for producing mechanical foam, Multipurpose Aqueous Film, Dry chemical powder for fighting B &C Class fires etc. and the tests which these materials undergo are like Sedimentation/ Stratification, pH, Viscosity, Apparent Density, Chemical content, Particle Size distribution and many more.
