    About Building Energy Performance Laboratory, Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology

    Building Energy Performance Laboratory has been established by the collaborative efforts of the Glazing Society of India and the Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology University. It is one of a kind testing laboratory in India which undertakes tests to examine the performance of energy. It is supported by the Ministry of New and renewable Resources. The facility conducts photometry, fluid flow and thermal tests. Photometric tests are conducted over glass in buildings and glazing paints, fluid flow tests are conducted over fenestration of doors and windows. Thermal testing is conducted over insulating materials to examine their thermal conductivity. The unique testing facility is located in the prime city of Ahmedabad in Gujarat.
