    About Central Insulating Oil Testing Laboratory

    CENTRAL INSULATING OIL TESTING LABORATORY was started as an electrical testing provider. It is located in Andhra Pradesh, India. It provides testing services for Electrical Materials – Liquid Dielectric materials such as Transformer Oil and Mineral Insulating Oil. Tests performed are ; Dissolved Gas Analysis, CO, O2 ,CO2, CH4, C2H4, C2H6, Water Content and Specific Resistance, Flash Point, Total Acidity, Interfacial Tension, Dielectric Dissipation Factor (DDF), Dielectric Strength, Sludge Content, Kinematic Viscosity, Pour Point, Oxidation Stability, Furan analysis, Degree of polymerization, Gassing Tendency, SK Value, Corrosive Sulphur, Inhibitor content,Carbon Type composition and several others. The laboratory is a part of Power Grid India. It strives to provide testing services of high precision and follows National and International standards. It is also accredited by NABL for the grace of its excellent services and its highly expert and committed staff.
