About Centre for Applied Research and Development, Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited
CARD is an undertaking of University of Oklahoma to contribute to research and development across many disciplines. It is located in Norman, Tulsa. The major areas of focus are engineering, architecture and weather. Engineering R&D is mainly focussing on development of cross-disciplinary technologies some of which include optimization, dynamic structure sensing and control, applied surfactant, bioengineering and human operator performance, etc. Similarly in the field of weather some of the tests conducted are on weather radar, fin scale atmospheric prediction, integrative social sciences, and unmanned aerial vehicles, surface observing networks and space based environmental observations. The university centre for research strives employ paper based technologies in the work field in an efficient way.
