    CSIR-Council of Scientific and Industrial Research constituted prior to independence is India’s first Research and Development Organization. It has multiple research and testing laboratories under its aegis. One of the laboratory called the Battery Performance Testing and Evaluation Centre, which, as its name suggests is into testing of batteries. It is situated in the campus of Central Electrochemical Research Institute. The facility is equipped with state of the art technological instruments to undertake Electrical testing of batteries. One kind of battery which is subjected to tests in this facility includes Lead acid type batteries. By offering superior quality services they have been successful in carving out a significant position in the industry they belong to. Hence they have acquired an impressive loyal client base.
