    Irumpanam Quality Control Laboratory is a Kochi, Kerala based testing centre for petroleum products and lubricants. A major part of its undertakings provide services to Hindustan Petroleum Limited, a Navaratna company. Tests performed on petroleum products determine appearance, sulphur content, residue, smoke, pour and flash point, density, viscosity, moisture content, etc. Tests performed on lubricants determine total base number (TBN), aniline point, viscosity, flash point and density. The organisation has a strong reputation for maintenance of quality of their services to a very appreciable level and is a sought after and reliable founding with stat of the art laboratories and assessment facilities.
