    About ITC Life Sciences & Technology Centre

    Earlier known as ITC R&D Centre when it came into existence in 1983, now rebranded as ITC Life Sciences &Technology Centre is located in Bangalore. It is a science driven product innovation initiative. It aims to not only improve the quality of the existing products but also anticipate future demand specifications of the customers. It involves research in science led areas like agronomy, microbiology, cell biology, Genomics etc. Their Agri-sciences R&D team performs high end laboratory researches to improve productivity of tree species to provide alternative land uses to traditional farmers and to the owners of wastelands. Along with experimenting on the lines of improvement of the products ITC also manages to control the quality of its manufactured products by monitoring these products through product quality rating systems (PQRS).
