    Jindal Power ltd is a subsidiary of Jindal Steel and Power Ltd, one of the most promising companies in the power sector in the country. Jindal Power is the first power company to set up an independent power plant, in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh in the year 2007. It has set up an Environment management department in this plant which has created a standard for environmental policies and norms which the company religiously follows. The Raigarh plant is well equipped with a laboratory for fulfilling environmental testing needs. Since the company is associated with power it specifically undertakes electrical tests for two materials which are transformers and transformer insulating oil. The test which these materials undergo are BDV tests, tan delta tests, resistivity tests and insulation resistance tests.
