    At present time, Kanpur Terminal Laboratory as India's flagship national company Indian Oil is situated in Panki, a calm place in Kanpur at Uttar Pradesh. Indian Oil Corporation Limited with a 33K strong work force, has been meeting India’s energy demands for over 50 years. With the company vision to be 'The Energy of India' and to become 'A globally loved company,' Indian Oil's business interests straddle the complete organic compound value chain from processing, pipeline transportation and endorsing of oil product to exploration & production of crude & gas, gas and petrochemicals, besides foraying into energy and economic process of downstream operations. The 745 km long Barauni - Kanpur Pipeline was commissioned in 1966. It transports oil product from Barauni refinery station. The pipeline has boosting-cum-delivery stations in between the Barauni to Kanpur pipeline at Patna, Mughalsarai, Allahabad terminating Kanpur.
