    About Lab & Testing Centre Section, R & D Centre for Bicycle & Sewing Machine

    Lab & Testing section, established in 1981 which is a bicycle and its components manufacturer is committed towards ensuring quality and hence has set up a lab. For providing these services the lab is located in Ludhiana, Punjab. The lab conducts chemical testing on materials like Cast Iron, Malleable cast Iron, High Manganese, Stainless Steels, Brass & Bronze, Aluminium Alloy etc., which undergo tests like Carbon, Sulphur, Phosphorous, Silicon, Manganese, Nickel, Tin, Lead, Zinc and many more. The lab also conducts mechanical testing on materials like Ferrous Materials, Ferrous & Non Ferrous Material Including Fasteners (Nuts & Bolts), cast irons etc., which undergo tests like Microstructure analysis, Tensile Strength, Yield Stress, Proof Load, Inclusion rating, Estimation of grain size and many more. The lab is well-equipped with trained & experienced manpower provide sufficient strength to institute to assist the industries in their technological requirements.
