    Landis + Gyr Limited established in 1896 is one of the most dominant player of the metering solutions industry. It provides solutions for electricity, gas, heat, cold and water for energy measurement. It believes in manufacturing smart meters of excellent quality which meet the expectations of its clients. For research and quality assurance purpose it has set up labs in many areas across the globe. In India it has established one such testing facility in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The lab there conducts electrical testing on AC static watthour energy meters. Few of the tests conducted at that facility are, AC high voltage test, insulation test, test on limits of error, test of meter constant, test of starting condition, test of no load condition, power consumption tests and test of repeatability error. It aims to serve its clients with meters which can help them monitor their energy consumption and reduce their consumption as per their suitability.
