    Man Made Textiles Research Association (MANTRA) was established in the year 1981 and is located at Surat, Gujarat. It is involved in carrying out research and development activities, testing and technical service facilities for fibre textile industries. It offers Chemical Testing services for products such as Fibres, Yarns and Fabric, Finished Fabric, Industrial and Fine Chemicals used in Industries, Waste Water using equipment such as Flame Photometer, BOD Incubator, Turbidity Meter, Bio-Reactor, Conductivity Meter, pH Meter, etc., Effluents and Soil and Solid Waste using instruments such as Microscope, Autoclave, Orbital Shaker, and others.
