About Material Inspection Laboratory

The Material Inspection Laboratory is a NABL certified lab set up in Mumbai. They provide testing services for Destructive (Chemical and Mechanical) and Non-Destructive tests with an experience of over 6 years. The services provided by them are of 2 kinds: 1) Destructive tests Mechanical testing services like tensile test, bend test, flattening test etc. Chemical testing services like ferrous and non-ferrous tests 2) Non-Destructive tests like Ultrasonic flaw detection, Thickness gauging, Magnetic Particle Testing, Liquid penetrant testing etc. Apart from this, it can also provide consultancy services on Mechanical properties and characteristics, Microscopic and Subsurface flaws, corrosion susceptibility etc. They have a history of good clientele including well-renowned clients like HP Petroleum, NPCIL and Bharat Petroleum. The laboratory team consists of well-qualified Engineers and technicians along with Level 2 operators which maintain quality of analysis and get timely results which are convenient and cost-effective for the client. It plays an important role in keeping a check on the reliability and safety of materials.
