    About Material Testing Laboratories, Pune

    The Material Testing Laboratory, Controllerate of Quality Assurance (Special Vehicles) is in Pune. Its main aim is to test and check the quality of materials related to special vehicles and engage in Research and Development to come up with better materials for the industry. Apart from this, the laboratory also conducts Chemical and Mechanical testing of various sorts: Mechanical tests for Steel alloys, Copper alloys and Aluminum alloys like Tensile strength, Yield strength, Elongation percentage, Rockwell hardness, Vickers hardness etc. Chemical tests like Ambient air testing, Emission monitoring tests, Drinking water testing and surface water testing to name a few. The Laboratory is equipped with modern technology and an infrastructure that facilities the efficient conduction of tests and research. The staff consists of Technicians who are knowledgeable and experienced. Since the start, the company has engaged in research intensively and has even come up with various research and testing mechanisms which are accepted all over the country.
