    The aforementioned organisation performs tests in mechanical, chemical, metallurgical disciplines on soil and other minerals. Heat treatment and radiography, welding and electrode testing are some of the other undertaken tests performed by it. The organisation is mainly attached with mining oriented excavation testing revolving around minerals. Testing under mechanical discipline include tensile, impact, fracture toughness, fatigue, metallography and flexural. Chemical testing includes gas analysis, PMI, ICP, XRF, spectrometry and wet chemical analysis. Corrosion tests include hydrogen induced cracking test, sulphur stress corrosion cracking, IGC and hydrogen disbanding. This is a leading organisation and has been delivering great service since a very long time.
