    About Meter Management Group Laboratory, TPDDL

    Tata Power Delhi distribution Limited is one of the critical entities in the network of Indian power distribution system. Tata group is committed to improve the industrial overview in whichever it ventures. The power sector of the country faces a certain degree of handicap because of power theft and hence resources are not utilized to their maximum potential. Meter tampering is one of the prime reasons because of which this loss of power happens, Hence Tata invested its resources to produce meters which are sturdy and staunch to endure these malevolent attempt to hamper their operation and despite that, function smoothly. For that purpose a testing facility has been established under the Meter Management Group functioning in the aegis of the TPDDL, to produce the best quality meter. The testing facility is equipped with the latest technological developments to undertake chemical testing of vartmeters and watthour meters.
