Mother Dairy was commissioned in the year 1974 and is an owned subsidiary of National Dairy Development Board (NDDB). Today, Mother Dairy manufactures and supplies milk and milk products to the entire country while maintaining optimum quality.
The company maintains stringent measures to ensure the quality and purity of milk supplied to the consumers for which each patch of milk is subjected to 21 tests at the Quality Assurance laboratory which is ISO and NABL certified.
The laboratory conducts chemical tests on Food and Agricultural products like Liquid Milk (Rosalic Acid test, starch test etc.), Milk powder (test for Ash content, Moisture content etc.), White Butter (Curd Content test, Milk fat etc.), Butter Oil (test for Peroxide value, Moisture Content etc.) and others.
The milk goes through various processes like Clarification, Homogenization, Standardization and Pasteurization to ensure that it is safe for consumption.
