    About NSIC-Technical Services Centre, The National Small Industries Corporation Limited (A Govt. of India Enterprise)

    NSIC has been established to provide supporting services to the Micro, small and medium enterprises. As a part of their supporting services they have established NSIC technical services centre. They provide services like Hi tech and conventional trade, material and product testing. They have their testing laboratory situated in Rajkot, Gujarat. Their testing facility provides mechanical and Electrical testing services. The materials which are subjected to tests in this facility are automative parts and electrical machines. Mechanical tests are conducted on automative parts and few of the tests which are undertaken includes- type test, performance tests, governing test, endurance tests, no load and low speed tests, rating tests and many more. Electrical tests are conducted on rotating electrical machines and few of these tests includes, voltage running up tests, full load test, temperature rise test at rated voltage, hydrostatic pressure test, pump performance tests, insulation resistance tests, high voltage tests and many more.
