    About Olam Quality Control Laboratory

    Olam initially started with trading of cashews from Nigeria to India, later it expanded its operations globally and established itself as a leading supplier of agricultural and industrial raw materials.To become a global leader, they have emphasized on ensuring that the quality of the products that they supply is of utmost standard. Therefore, they have set up many testing laboratories across the globe and one of its laboratories in India is situated in Kerela. This lab is well equipped with latest technology testing instruments to carry out chemical and biological testing on herbs, spices and condiments. Biological tests undertaken involve test of plate count or aerobic plate count, test to check containment of salmonella, yeast, mold and E.coli. Chemical tests undertaken involve test to check the level of moisture, volatile oil, ochratoxin, aflatoxin etc within the herbs and condiments being tested. They possess a legacy of 25 years of global trading and testing experience and over the years they have developed an image of being a quality supplier of raw materials.
