    About Ordnance Parachute Factory

    Ordnance Parachute Factory is established in the year 1941, Ordnance Parachute Factory initially dealt with the repairing of the man carrying parachutes. Gradually, in the upcoming years, it started producing supply drop parachutes, personal parachutes, inflatable boats, floats for KM bridge, and Military uniforms. This Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh based factory is one of the 40 different manufacturing units that work under the Ordnance Factory Board, Kolkata. Before the production process of any product is initiated, the raw materials are first carefully tested, according to their specifications, in their NABL accredited testing lab which is fully-equipped with all the state-of-the-art equipment. The various kinds of chemical and mechanical testing offered by Ordnance Parachute Factory are yarn testing, fabric testing, tape testing, and cordage. Ordnance Parachute Factory ceaselessly works on supplying excellent quality products to its customers by excelling in every field of their work.
