About Orient Cement Quality Control Laboratory (C.G.U)

Orient Cement was formerly, a part of Orient Paper & Industries. It was demerged in the year 2012, since then it has witnessed a six fold increase in the market capitalization in a very short period. Orient Cement’s plant situated at Devapur in Adilabad District, Telangana, began cement production in the year 1982. In 1997, a split-grinding unit at Nashirabad in Jalgaon, Maharashtra was added. The Orient Cement Quality Control Laboratory has developed many ground breaking techniques which are acclaimed all over the country and are also accepted in various parts of the globe. The laboratory is spread over a large area and has state-of-the-art infrastructure with many modern and recently developed technologies. Some of the many services provided by the Orient Cement Quality Control Laboratory (C.G.U) are chemical and mechanical testing of building materials etc.
