About Pesticides Residue Analysis Laboratory, National Horticultural Research and Development Foundation
The National Horicultural Research & Development Foundation was established on 3rd November 1977 at New Delhi but in 1989, its head office got shifted in Nasik, Maharashtra. It has the responsibility to implement various research and development projects funded by the Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India. Amongst the various facilities it provide, Pesticide Residue Analysis Laboratory is one of the best known. It is facilitated with the tests to check for pesticidal residues in fresh and processed fruits and vegetable (Grapes, Pomegranate, Mango, Papaya, Banana, Brinjal, Potato, Capsicum, Chilli, Tomato, Beans, Okra, Bottle Guard, Bitter Guard, Cucurbits, Onion, Baby Corn and Garlic). The laboratory also specializes in the chemical characterization of wines
