About Photovoltaic Test Facility, National Institute of Solar Energy
Photovoltaic Test Facility at National Institute of Solar Energy established 25 years ago was converted to an autonomous institution in September, 2013 in Gurgaon, Haryana. The laboratory is well equipped with instruments and well-trained and skilled personnel. It provides R&D in the field of solar photovoltaic lighting system in India. Tests including visual impaction, maximum power determination, insulation, outdoor exposure, thermal cycling, humidity freeze, performance, wet leakage current test, mechanical load test and dump heat test for the electronic testing of the various photovoltaic equipment - crystalline silicon terrestrial photovoltaic modules are available at the laboratory in the photovoltaic test facility.
