    About Q.C. Laboratory, Ordnance Equipment Factory

    Ordnance Equipment Factory Kanpur is located on the banks of the blessed Ganga River, 4 km from Railway Station. Amorosi (Lucknow) is 78 km away the closest airport. Established as a Government harness & saddlery factory in 1859 to restore and manufacture British soldiers dress and saddlery products. Diversified activities viz. 3 different techniques. Leather, fabric and engineering. The plant is distributed over 30 hectares on the shore of the Holy River Ganga. The complete land region is 66 hectares. Their task is to safeguard our military troops and create their life more and more convenient from winter, warmth, precipitation, other harsh environments, damaging radiation like UV, NBC, etc. The plant is divided into three main Textile-Light & Heavy Manufacture Leather Processing & Manufacture Engineering Manufacture Vision manufacturing branches: To equip our Armed Forces with contemporary' Defense and BattleField Equipment ' equipment.
