    About Quality Assurance Establishment (Military Explosives), Pune

    The Quality Assurance Directorate-General (DGQA), Pune is under Deptt. Of Production of Defense, Ministry of Defense. This organization is over 100 years old and provides coverage of Quality Assurance (QA) for the entire range of arms, ammunition, equipment and stores supplied to the Armed Forces. In addition to QA operations, the organization is accountable for the replacement of imports and partners in construction initiatives with the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO). It also guarantees Documentation, Codification and Standardization Action to minimize component / equipment range. The other services rendered are the promotion to users, the Ministry and the Production Agencies of small-scale industries, post procurement services, defect research and technical consultancy. Under this organization, the facilities are distributed throughout the nation where the Ordnance Factories, Public Sector Defense Enterprises and Industrial Base are found. The purpose of the website is to give a bird's eye perspective of the DGQA organization and its features.
