The Fertilizer Corporation of India was created in 1978 as a result of the reorganization of Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited. A variety of industrial chemicals is manufactured by RCF for uric and complex fertilizer (NPK).
RCF is India's major public sector fertilizer and chemical factory. It was founded on 6 March 1978 to re-organize the former Indian Fertilizer Corporation in five fresh enterprises, namely. Hindustan Fertilizer Corporation Limited (HFC), Projects & Development India Limited Linued (PDIL), NFL and Rashtriya Chemical & Fertilizer Limited Limited Limited (RCF). R. 800 Crore and paid up assets of R. 551.69 Crore are currently the authorized share capital of RCF. In 1997 it was granted the coveted status of "Miniratna."
With modernization and upgraded technology, RCF always strives to maintain crops. The mystery that held the business flourishing for four and quarter centuries is redeveloping and de-bottlenecking. RCF upgraded its Ammonia I, Nitric Acid, Methanol and ANP crops at its Trombay facility, a portion of their upgrading. This has made crops sustainable and technologically challenging, such as enhanced effectiveness, reduced energy consumption and upholding economic standards. It has also led to the greatest safety and product quality standards for the business. Another optimistic proposal has also been finished by the company. Ammonia revamps at Thal Unit that allowed Urea to generate a further 3, 0 Lakh MT and to save valuable international currency.
