About Regional Test Centre (Solar Thermal) School of Energy Sciences

In 1992, the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Govt, created the Regional Test Center (Solar Thermal). India. India. The center offers the factory/state nodal agencies / R&D organizations with testing and referral equipment for the testing of the solar thermal system. It serves also as the test center for solar collectors and solar cookers for the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The Center on behalf of MNRE inspects, monitors and tests different solar devices on-site to ensure the product quality. It also conducts coaching programs, organizes company meetings and provides technical support for prospective solar thermal customers. It is certified by ISO 17025: 2005 and is an Indian Standards Bureau and Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India, acknowledged by the National Accreditation Board of Testing & Calibration L laboratories (NABL). The purpose of this interdisciplinary college is to create state-of-the-art study facilities in several energy, environmental and marine sciences fields. With the college growing, the services accessible expand quickly. The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy has approved the establishment of the GARP, along with IITs, as a comprehensive fuel gasification center. Many studies have been conducted and the findings have been applied in manufacturing apps from this study center. One of the latest technologies created in the center was Long Stick Gasifier. To develop any sort of welding machine gasifiers, generators, and other associated equipment, the Centre has the complete configuration.
