    About Reliance Testing Centre, Reliance Industries Limited

    Reliance testing Centre, established in 2001 which deals in hydrocarbon exploration and production, petroleum refining and marketing, petrochemicals, retail and telecommunications aims at ensuring quality to its customers and hence has set up a lab. For providing these facilities the lab is located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The lab conducts chemical testing on textile materials like sliver/yarn which undergo tests like Quantitative Analysis of Polyester with Cotton or Regenerated Viscose. The lab also conducts mechanical testing on textile materials like sliver 0.049-0.249 NeC (2.3 – 12kTex), yarn Up to 140NeC (4.28Tex), roving 0.295-3.69 NeC (0.6 – 2 kTex) which undergo tests like Tensile Properties of Single Strands, Hairiness, Imperfections/km, Unevenness of Textile Strands, Classifying and counting Faults in Spun Yarns, Linear Density of Yarn, Breaking Strength of the yarn and many more. The lab is equipped with skilled technicians.
