    Power Grid Corporation of India is one renowned name that is recognized as the Indian State-owned electric utility company. The headquarter of the company is established in Gurgaon, Haryana from where it transmits approximately 50% of entire power generated across the nation via its wide transmission network. The company was set up in the year 1993 and since then, it is being rated as one ‘excellent’ firm under Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Power. Power Grid not only provides power to distances but also provides consultancy related to transmission to around 150 clients within the country and more than 25 clients at the international level. Along with power generation and consultancy services, Power Grid offers telecom services as well with the help of its wide transmission infrastructure.
