    About Testing & Evaluation Laboratory of Institute for Autoparts & Hand Tools Technology

    Institute for Auto parts and Hand Tools Technology was established in the year 1994. The primary aim of Institute for Auto parts and Hand Tools Technology is to serve as a research and development organization different auto components and hand tool manufacturing sectors so that the technological level of small and medium enterprises of the Punjab region can be uplifted. The services provided by them include identification, testing, characterization, and assessment of metals, alloys, and polymers, CAD development, and training, heat treatment of metal and alloys, metrological inspection, Computer-aided manufacturing and training, precision measurement, skill upgrading training, consultancy, and extension of services. The testing and evaluation laboratory of Institute for Auto parts and Hand Tools Technology have BIS recognized testing labs, and its chemical, calibration, and mechanical laboratories are NABL accredited. It has also received the ISO 9001:2015 certification. Institute for Autoparts and Hand Tools Technology has also been awarded with the AERB certification for Radiography.
