    Toshiba is a well-known name for every household, because of the numerous pioneering electrical and electronic devices that have been produced by them since their establishment in the 80's. Since the last 50 years, Toshiba has become hugely popular in India. The first Toshiba Transmission and Distribution System were introduced in the year 1894, which consists of High Voltage Power Transmission and Distribution substations that serve their customers with products that range between 72.5 kV to 1100kV of voltage and 8000A of current. All the products supplied by them are accredited with the IEC/ANSI standards and safety. The Toshiba Transmission and Distribution Systems consists of testing laboratories, located at Telangana, that performs various electrical tests like insulation resistance, polarization index and absorption index, magnetic polarization, winding resistance, and much more, on various kinds of power distribution transformers, EHV transformers, etc. The testing laboratory at Toshiba Transmission and Distribution systems is ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accredited.
