MEHRU was established in the year 1997, at Alwar, Rajasthan, and has since been manufacturing numerous excellent quality instrument transformers with capacity as high as 420 kV. All their products are designed keeping in mind the best and the most modern kind of technology, to assure their top-notch quality. It is an ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 certified company. The testing laboratory of MEHRU Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Pvt. Ltd. has the most advanced and latest equipment that help carry out all the routine tests with utmost perfection. There are a total of 8 testing labs out of which 5 perform all the routine tests, 2 are dedicated labs that help test the incoming raw materials, and 1 lab which consists of Resonant Test system is used for Discharge free tests. All the tests like AC voltage test, capacitance measurement, capacitance loss measurement, composite error measurement test, current transformers testing, potential transformer testing, etc., are carried out according to IEC, IS, BS, AS, and ANSI standards.
