    Vasantdada Sugar Institute, established in 1975 provides scientific technical and educational functions relevant to sugar industry. It provides analysis of sugarhouse products, soil, water, effluents etc. For providing all these facilities the lab has been set up in Pune, Maharashtra. The lab provides quality testing of food and agriculture products. It provides chemical testing on materials like crystalline white sugar, raw sugar, cane molasses, plantation white sugar and many more. Few of the tests which these materials undergo are ICUMSA Colour at pH 7.0, Loss on Drying, Reducing Sugar, Insoluble Matter, Polarization, Conductivity ash, Brix, Colour of Crystal Sugar and many more. To provide these services, the lab has different technical divisions to fulfill all demands and requirements.
