    About Wool Research Association- Textile Lab

    Wool Research Lab, established in 1963 works for designing and developing new products and processes in field of textile industry, the organization is also committed towards providing high quality services and hence has set up a lab. The lab is located in Thane, Maharashtra. The organization maintains testing integrity and quality assurance in its lab. The lab conducts chemical testing on textile materials and the tests which they undergo are Moisture Regain and Moisture Content, pH value of Aqueous Extract, Solvent soluble matter, Colour fastness to Washing, Colour fastness to Rubbing and many more. The lab also conducts mechanical testing on textile materials like Raw Wool and Sliver, Yarn, Fabric, Sliver and Roving etc., and few of the tests which these materials undergo are Fibre length distribution, Linear Density, Elongation at break, Maximum Force, Mass per unit area and many more. The lab has qualified technical professionals to enhance the testing services.
